West Coast Swing – This is a challenging dance that dances forward and back in what is called the slot. West Coast Swing dancers syncopate quite often to “play” with the music. A dance that flows from step to step, rarely returning to a basic, West Coast Swing is danced in clubs all around the Bay Area.
Hustle – People say Hustle is coming back. The news is that it never left. Pounding, sharp music make this a dance of turns. Quick leads by the man, and great following and body control by the lady make this a great dance to watch as well as to dance.
Two Step - This is what you do to that eighth grade slow dance music. This is a soft, flowing dance which is a direct reflection of the music danced to our most recent music. The Two Step started in Southern California in the late 70′s and early 80′s, and is great with slow, contemporary music.
Salsa – See Latin Dance.
